IBM 2809 PCI LAN/WAN/Workstation IOP can be used for attaching LAN, WAN and workstation IOAs to the system. The following features can be attached: #2721: PCI Two-Line WAN IOA (support only), #2722: Twinaxial Workstation IOA, #2723: PCI Ethernet IOA (support only), #2724: PCI 16/4Mbps Token-Ring IOA, #2726: PCI Disk Unit Controller (support only), #2729: PCI Magnetic Media Controller (support only), #2838/#9738: PCI 100/10Mbps Ethernet IOA. The #2809 can support different combinations of the above features, depending upon which position the IOP is installed in.
